Your wedding day is the most exciting days of your life, and it is all about you and man of your dreams. You have planned every detail, down to the color of each little flower, and now it is time to take care of Y-O-U! Hiring professional hair and makeup for your special day takes the stress off of doing your own, or putting your trust in a friend. You want to look and feel your very best, which is where we come in!
How to plan your Wedding Day Style...
1. Book your stylist at least 3 months in advance, especially if you are getting married during peak wedding season.
2. Book your trial run! Check with your stylist, and book a trial run 1 to 3 months prior to your wedding date (It's fun to book it on a special day, such as a shower or special shopping outing!) This day is important because you build a rapport with your stylist, and figure out a general style for your big day. Don't worry, the style you choose today is not set in stone, you can always make adjustments on your wedding day.
3. Before coming in for your trial, check out Pinterest for possible hair and makeup choices.
*For hair styles, look at brides with similar hair color and texture to yours. A style on a bride with straight, or brunette hair looks very different on a bride with curly, or blonde hair. Also, think about the style of your dress. If you want to show off your back, think about an upstyle, or bringing your hair around to the front. If you'd like to show off the front of your dress, you can wear your hair down and pushed back, or in an upstyle. Also keep in mind that the majority of brides in professional shots are wearing some sort of extensions, talk to your stylist about this on the day of your trial run.
*For makeup, take into account the color of your complexion, eye color, and hair color. Makeup is all about bringing out YOUR best facial features, so check out brides with similar physical traits. Also think about your wedding theme. If your venue and dress are high glam, you'll want your makeup style to be as such, on the contrary, if you are having a rustic or country wedding, your makeup should match!
